LEGEND Gypsum board (plasterboard) jointing compound is plaster-based (gypsum based), made up of fine semi-water gypsum powder added to the metering adhesive, which is suitable for gap filling of building wall panels. Such as: cement board, gypsum board, roof, nail holes and other filling and the need for caulking parts. This product has strong adhesion and is an indispensable accessory for interior decoration.

Product Uses
Gypsum board ceiling partitioning, batching on the wall surface, unpainted white cement wall, wall cracks, etc. It can prevent cracking, fast curing, high hardness and easy construction. Gypsum board joint treatment and joint paper tape paste, can also be used for the filling of gypsum board surface and full batch leveling.

(1) Use a front surface treatment to remove floating soil, loose materials, and various substances that are not conducive to bonding.
(2) Place the gypsum joint powder in a clean container, then add water (the ratio of powder to water is 1: 0.4) and mix thoroughly to form a gel.
(3) The adjusted powder is evenly filled with the gap formed by the bevel of the edge of the gypsum board, and then the paper joint tape is laid along the seam and the joint tape is pressed into the freshly scraped powder.
(4) There should be enough powdery glue under the joint tape to ensure that the glue is firm, and then scrape a thin layer of powder. This can reduce the occurrence of edge curling or wrinkling (usually scraping twice)
(5) If it is mixed with water, please use it within 60 minutes or the powder will not cure.

 

Reference dosage
20kg of this bag can be used for gypsum board joint around 35 square meters.
For full batch leveling, the amount depends on the specific coating thickness.
